Dzinara Alimbekava 4th in the IBU Women's World Cup Total Score

MINSK, 7 December (BelTA) – Dzinara Alimbekava of Belarus goes fourth in the IBU Women's World Cup Total Score after two BMW IBU World Cup events in Kontiolahti, Finland, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian currently holds 151 points. Olympic champion Hanna Oeberg from Sweden tops the standings with 204 points. Second goes Sweden's Olsbu Marte Roeiseland (168 points), third – Sweden's Johanna Skottheim (152 points). As for other Belarusian biathletes, Elena Kruchinkina goes 27th with 48 points, Iryna Kryuko - 29th with 44 points, Hanna Sola - 54th with 12 points. In the IBU Women's Nations Cup Score Belarus goes 8th with a total of 1,281 points. Sweden leads with 1,729 points, France is second with 1,559 points and Germany is third with 1,498 points.

Johannes Boe of Norway tops the Men's World Cup Total Score with 210 points. Second goes Sweden's Sebastian Samuelsson with 175 points. Third is Slovenia's Jakov Fak with 152 points. As for the Belarusian athletes, Sergei Bocharnikov goes 24th with 59 points, Anton Smolski is 33rd with 40 points, Maksim Vorobei is 36th with 31 points, Raman Yaliotnau is 50th with 10 points. Belarus is eighth in the IBU Man's Nations Cup Score with a total of 1,216 points. Norway leads the standings with 1,742 points, Germany goes second with 1,548 points and Sweden is third with 1,512 points.

BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 3 will take place in Hochfilzen, Austria on 11-13 December.
