MINSK, 11 December (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk lost 0-1 to HC Vityaz in a home match of the KHL regular season on 10 December, BelTA has learned.
In the previous meeting the Bisons celebrated a 4-3 shootout win in Podolsk.
The only goal came midway through the first period when Alexander Shevchenko put Vityaz in front. Visiting goalie Joni Ortio got an assist on that play and was instrumental at the other end as he made 25 saves to secure the shut-out.
Minsk slipped to a third successive loss and remains bottom of the Western Conference.
Following the international break the Belarusian team will be back in action on 18 December hosting Dinamo Riga.
