Dinamo Minsk blanked by visiting Magnitka

MINSK, 15 November (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk lost 0-2 to Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the KHL action at home on 14 November, BelTA has learned.

Dinamo Minsk, victorious against Traktor in Andrei Sidorenko's first game behind the bench, battled hard in a bid to extend the success.

The first two periods went goalless. Nikolai Kulemin broke the deadlock early in the third period putting Magnitka on the scoreboard. Dinamo threatened to tie it up on the power play, but Magnitogorsk goalie Vasily Koshechkin kept the host away. An empty-net goal from Dennis Rasmussen in the last minute decided the outcome for the game.

The Bisons, 12th in the Western Conference, will wrap up their home series against Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg on 16 November.
