MINSK, 23 September (BelTA) – Stroitel Minsk lost to Jastrzebski Wegiel (Poland) 0-3 in the CEV Champions League Volley 2021 Men qualification, BelTA has learned.
Despite the score, Stroitel fought hard, especially in the first two sets, hoping to cause an upset.
Pavel Audochanka and Siarhei Antanovich led the team with 13 and 10 points respectively. Mohamed Al Hachdadi (19 points) and Yacine Louati (13 points) were the top scorers for the Polish side.
On 23 September, the Minsk team will face Draisma Dynamo Apeldoorn. On 24 September the teams of Poland and the Netherlands will play each other.
