MINSK, 29 April (BelTA) – Kirill Grishchenko of Belarus defeated Oumar Kane of Senegal at the One Championship mixed martial arts tournament in Singapore, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian dominated the entire fight, keeping his distance and attacking sharply. The Senegalese, who was the favorite of the match, tried to find his luck on the counterattack.
At the end of the second round, Oumar Kane seemed to get his way, breaking through the Belarusian's defense with a right uppercut. Kirill Grishchenko responded immediately with a short right hook.
The referee stopped the fight and awarded the Belarusian the victory after Oumar Kane had been hit during the final hooter and could not get up. For Kirill Grishchenko it became the fourth victory in four fights on professional arena. His opponent suffered his first defeat in his four fights.
