MINSK, 16 May (BelTA) – Belarusian judokas have won 14 medals at international tournaments in Russia, BelTA has learned.
Artsyom Kolasau claimed silver in the 60kg weight category at the Vasily Oshchepkov Memorial Tournament in Khabarovsk. Bronze medals were collected by Yahor Trukhan (73kg), Aliaksandr Sidoryk (90kg), and Daniel Mukete (100kg).
Kseniya Dinolovich (52kg) and Darya Kantsavaya (78kg) clinched bronze medals at the women's professional tournament St Petersburg Challenge.
Belarusians took two gold medals at the Russian U18 judo competitions To the Memory of Fatherland Heroes in Tyumen. Gold medals went to Yauheni Garbachou (60kg) and Anton Dubovik (66kg). Aryna Makeyenka (48kg) collected silver, while bronze medals were claimed by Sofiya Varapai (44kg), Vialetta Fiodarava (63kg), Aliaksandra Kupchanka (70kg), Stas Alkhou (60kg), and Kanstantsin Hurkayeu (50kg).
