Belarus’ Builou victorious at FIG Trampoline & Tumbling World Cup in Baku

MINSK, 22 February (BelTA) - Andrei Builou of Belarus has claimed victory at the first stage of the 2026 FIG Trampoline & Tumbling World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan, BelTA has learned.

The men’s individual trampoline final featured eight athletes from Belarus, Russia, Azerbaijan, Türkiye, the USA, and Kazakhstan. Builou secured the gold medal with a score of 63.550 points. Andrei outperformed runner-up Maksim Didenko of Russia by four points. The bronze medal went to Türkiye’s Huseyin Yontucu (59.260). Two-time Olympic champion Ivan Litvinovich made mistakes and finished only seventh.

Earlier on 22 February, Iana Lebedeva of Belarus claimed victory in the women’s individual event. Next, on Sunday, Builou and Litvinovich will compete in the men’s synchronized trampoline final, and Belarusian representatives will also contend for medals in the mixed and women’s synchronized events.
