URUMQI, 14 October (BelTA) - The 6th World Media Summit opened in Urumqi, capital city of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and will be running until 17 October.
Themed "Artificial Intelligence and Media Transformation," the summit brought together representatives of 208 mainstream media outlets, government agencies and international organizations, the UN bodies and other international organizations.
The event is co-hosted by Xinhua News Agency and the regional government of Xinjiang.
