MINSK, 6 July (BelTA) – A working group has been set up in Belarus upon instructions of the prime minister to work out proposals on developing digital visa and travel authorization systems in the country, the press service of the Belarusian government told BelTA.
The working group is led by Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Evgeny Shestakov.
The working group has been tasked with working out requirements for the digital visa and travel authorization systems, determining customers and the coordinator for the development and deployment of these systems, stages of this work, volume, and sources of funding, and the procedure for the legal regulation of the operation of these systems.
If necessary, the working group can consult with heads and specialists of central government agencies and other state-run organizations accountable to the central government.
The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is entrusted with providing organizational support for the working group's operation.
