Pakistan cultural section opens in Borisov district library

MINSK, 17 February (BelTA) - The Pakistan Embassy together with the Kolodeev Borisov Central District Library unveiled a Pakistan cultural section on 15 February as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Belarus, BelTA has learned.

The exposition is a collection of Pakistani works of art, books, household items, souvenirs and introduces visitors to the cultural and artistic heritage of Pakistan.

Over the past three years, the Pakistan Embassy has been actively cooperating with the Kolodeev Borisov Central District Library organizing various cultural events, including workshops by famous Pakistani artists.


Pakistan and Belarus seek to further strengthen their bilateral relations, and initiatives such as establishing cultural sections are indicative of their willingness to deepen cooperation in culture, arts and education.

The opening ceremony was attended by First Deputy Chairman of the Borisov District Executive Committee Nikolai Shvaibovich, Head of the Culture Department of the Borisov District Executive Committee Natalya Skakun, staff of the Kholdeev Borisov Central District Library and representatives of the Pakistani diaspora.
