MINSK, 15 January (BelTA) - More than 7 million ballot papers have been printed for the presidential election in Belarus, CEC Secretary Yelena Baldovskaya told reporters, BelTA learned.
“The ballot papers for the election of the President of the Republic of Belarus are produced by the Belarusian Press House on order of the Central Election Commission. Their number correlates with the number of voters. The law provides for the possibility of producing a little extra in case voters spoil the ballots. A little more than 7 million ballot papers have been printed,” Yelena Baldovskaya said.
The presidential election in Belarus is scheduled for 26 January 2025.
