MINSK, 6 June (BelTA) – More than 52,000 foreign nationals have visited Belarus since it reopened border for visa waiver arrivals from Lithuania and Latvia on 15 April 2022, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
"For eight weeks since 15 April, 52,846 foreign citizens took advantage of the opportunity to visit Belarus without a visa. Among them there were 35,864 citizens of Lithuania, 4,602 non-citizens and 12,362 citizens of Latvia.
On 3-6 June, Belarus hosted 4,027 arrivals: 2,981 citizens of Lithuania, 803 citizens and 243 non-citizens of Latvia," the State Border Committee said.
