MOSCOW, 13 February (BelTA) – A session of the Agrarian Affairs Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia will take place in Minsk on 19 February in the videoconference format, the press service of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia told BelTA.
The parliamentarians are expected to discuss progress in preparing Union State projects “Union State smart farm” (automated and robotic solutions for dairy animal husbandry), “Union State horticulture” (robotic solutions for industrial horticulture). Apart from that, members of the commission will review progress of development of the Union State joint project “Pedigree aggregator: digital platform for large-scale selection of cattle”. The project is designed to pool data from livestock breeding enterprises, labs, and research centers of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.
Representatives of the Standing Committee of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry, the Russian Agriculture Ministry, the Russian Science and Higher Education Ministry, and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus have been invited to attend the event.
