MINSK, 10 May (BelTA) - Public order was maintained during mass events to celebrate Victory Day in Belarus on 9 May, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"The operational situation remained calm, under control. Law and order were ensured in full," the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
No incidents or emergency situations were recorded. The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that employees of the internal affairs bodies and military personnel of the internal troops were on high alert. Law enforcement officers focused on ensuring personal, property and road safety of citizens.
