MINSK, 11 January (BelTA) – Moscow’s VDNKh is starting a new tradition of showcasing Belarusian regions, Dmitry Mezentsev, State Secretary of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, told reporters on the sidelines of a ceremony to open the Brest Oblast Days exhibition at VDNKh, the Russia’s main exhibition, BelTA learned.
"Today we are starting a new tradition of not only Belarusian-Russian cooperation but showcasing our shared history. Belarus Pavilion, which was set up at the famous VDNKh expo in Moscow decades ago, is launching presentations of all Belarusian regions," Dmitry Mezentsev stated.
According to the state secretary, such initiatives reinforce the foundations of the Union State. The Belarusian and Russian regions’ potential, their innovations, research, intelligence serve as a response to the sanctions imposed by the Western countries, he emphasized.
