
MINSK, 26 March (BelTA) – The inauguration of Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko took place in the Grand Ceremonial Hall of the Palace of Independence on 25 March. More than 1,100 people were invited to attend.



















The Belarusians were able to watch this historic event live, starting from the moment the president's motorcade set out on its way to the inauguration venue, accompanied by an honorary escort of motorcyclists. His route went along two main avenues of the capital - Nezavisimosti Avenue and Pobeditelei Avenue. The ceremony ended when the head of state was sworn in office. A special atmosphere of unity, solidarity and pride for their country reigned in the hall at that moment. Everyone was sitting still as they were listening to every word of the president's oath.
