MINSK, 26 June (BelTA) – Belarusian designers are working towards building an agrotown in Azerbaijan, the press service of the Belarusian Architecture and Construction Ministry told BelTA.
Member of the delegation, director of the Belarusian Research Institute for Urban Development Aleksandr Khizhnyak said that Belarusian designers are examining the location where the agrotown is supposed to be built.
Apart from that, a working meeting took place at premises of the Agriculture Ministry. Participants of the meeting discussed what manufacturing facilities are supposed to be built in the Belarusian agrotown in Azerbaijan’s territory. The information will be included into the concept on developing this population center. According to preliminary information, the agrotown will have a dairy cattle farm and a milk processing facility.
BelTA reported earlier that the possibility of building an agrotown in Azerbaijan by Belarusian companies was discussed during a visit of Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko to Azerbaijan in May 2024.
