Belarusian air carrier Belavia suspends flights to Finland, Czechia

MINSK, 26 May (BelTA) – The Belarusian air carrier Belavia has canceled flights to Finland and the Czech Republic, BelTA learned from Belavia's website.

“Due to the decision of the governments of Finland and Czechia, we are forced to cancel all flights to and from these countries. Belavia will not fly to Finland from 26 May 2021 to 29 October 2021. All flights to and from Czechia will be grounded from 28 May 2021 to 30 June 2021,” the website reads.

Passengers can choose different departure dates or refund the cost of tickets for flights scheduled for these dates. This can be done within one year from the date of purchase for fully unused tickets or within one year from the date of the commencement of the flight for partially used tickets. Passengers can address these questions at the place of purchase of the tickets.

Earlier, Belavia also canceled flights to Sweden, Latvia, Ukraine, Lithuania, the United Kingdom, and France.

“We apologize for the inconvenience,” Belavia added.
