MINSK, 11 June (BelTA) - The Military Academy of the Republic of Belarus will continue to provide training for military personnel from China, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
A delegation from the Belarusian Military Academy led by its Head Andrei Gorbatenko is currently on an official visit to Beijing.
During the visit, the delegation held negotiations with Chinese representatives to discuss the organization of the training process at the Belarusian Military Academy and the enhancement of military education systems in both countries.
Special attention was given to the prospects for Belarus-China cooperation in military training. The parties outlined key priority areas to further cooperation.
A new contract was signed for training Chinese servicemen at the Belarusian Military Academy, continuing a program that has been in place since 1998.
