Lukashenko sends greetings to personnel of Belarusian State Olympic Reserve School

MINSK, 1 September (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the students, specialists and veterans of the Belarusian State Olympic Reserve School which marks the 55th anniversary, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Over the years the school has brought up many renowned athletes – European and world champions and Olympic champions. These include Ekaterina Karsten, Vitaly Shcherbo, Victoria Azarenka, Marina Lobach, Sergei Martynov, Maksim Nedasekau, etc.,” the head of state remarked.

Aleksandr Lukashenko thanked coaches and teachers for their professionalism in training athletes who win the most prestigious international tournaments and whose physical and mental strength amazes the whole world.

“The main thing is that you not only bring up champions but also teach youth to love their Motherland and give your students a start in life,” the president noted.

The head of state wished all athletes and teachers strong health, well-being and new achievements in the name of dear Belarus.
