MINSK, 5 January (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended Social Welfare Workers’ Day greetings to the Belarusian social welfare organizations, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.

“Belarus is a social welfare state. Our country has a clear and time-tested system of support for citizens in any life situation. We are proud that we have developed a reliable foundation for the wellbeing of Belarusians and continue improving it. The main asset of the social welfare sector is, of course, you - true professionals not only by duty but also by the call of your heart. Helping and understanding everyone is the most difficult task, requiring inexhaustible energy, patience and mercy, which you successfully perform every day,” the message of greetings reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko said that thanks to the care of social welfare workers, people do not feel lonely, overcome difficult circumstances, and remain confident that justice always triumphs.

“I heartily wish you strong health, happiness and further success in your work. May your good deeds resonate with those who need them and return a hundredfold in your life, bringing light, joy and emotional warmth,” the president wished.
