Lukashenko extends condolences to Russia over airplane crash

MINSK, 7 July (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko extended condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin in connection with the plane crash in Kamchatka Krai, BelTA learned from this in the press service of the Belarusian leader.

It is with great sadness that Belarus learned the tragic news about the plane crash which claimed the lives of passengers and crew members, the head of state said.

"On behalf of the Belarusian people and personally, I address words of support and commiserations to all Russians. I express my sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims, I wish their families courage and resilience during this difficult time," the president said.
