SHKLOV, 9 August (BelTA) – Sergei Bartosh, who previously headed the Agriculture and Food Ministry, was transferred to the position of the chairman of the Shklov District Executive Committee because of his no-nonsense approach to work. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the relevant statement at a government conference in Shklov, BelTA has learned.
The head of state noted that people in Shklov District already describe Sergei Bartosh as a strong executive that is difficult to fool. “He will not let you live a calm life here because he has experience and knowledge ranging from an executive to the minister,” the president pointed out.
“You are man of the earth. I strongly expect you to produce results here. All kinds of support will be provided,” the head of state said.
BelTA reported earlier that upon arriving in the district capital Aleksandr Lukashenko asked Sergei Bartosh about the first impressions of doing the new job and gave a tip concerning personnel management: “Keep in mind that some of the locals have always been strong-headed and skeptical of technologies. I am grateful to you for accepting the job. Things will be in order here considering your character. I am already getting the first reports about your work. They say: ‘Nope, you cannot talk to him for long, he expects instructions to be followed, and he says all the right things.’ This is why yes, you have to be demanding. People know how to do everything.”
