Lukashenko comments on Armenia’s remote attendance at EAEU events

MINSK, 26 June (BelTA) - Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko commented on the non-arrival of the Armenian leadership at the EAEU events in Minsk as he spoke at the Eurasian Economic Forum ahead of the EAEU summit, BelTA learned.
“You know the position of, say, Armenia. Well, it is easy to chide it for shunning away... It’s not difficult at all. But when something happens, it is never a one side's fault. We need to sort this out. Why did Armenia take such a position? I guess things are not perfect in the union. We cannot ignore this,” the head of state said.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is participating in the events via videoconference.
