Lukashenko: Belarusian-Russian relations will continue to expand

MINSK, 12 June (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Happy Russia Day to Russian President Vladimir Putin and all Russians, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader. 

"Russian statehood has been developing progressively, relying on centuries-old historical experience and traditional spiritual and moral values, the continuity of generations and the patriotism of the people. At all times, the greatest wealth and value for Russia has been its citizens," the head of state said. “Your policy to strengthen the human capital, to provide broad social and economic support for families and youth creates the necessary potential for building up the strength, overcoming all the difficulties of the current historical moment." 

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that the multifaceted Belarusian-Russian relations of alliance and strategic partnership will continue to expand on the back of new significant achievements of interstate cooperation and integration interaction. 

The Belarusian president wished Vladimir Putin strong health, strength and energy in reaching the goals and fulfilling objectives, and the residents of the Russian Federation - prosperity and well-being. 

Congratulatory messages from the Belarusian president were also sent to Russian Prime Minister, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Union State Mikhail Mishustin, Chairwoman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko and Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly, Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia Vyacheslav Volodin.
