MINSK, 4 January (BelTA) - Deputy Director General of the Belarusian state production association of electric power industry Belenergo Sergei Bobovich has been approved for the post of Director General of the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant (BelNPP), Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the corresponding personnel decision on 4 January, BelTA has learned.
“I will be honest with you: they tried to convince me that we have no specialists who can manage such a complex and important enterprise. I do not agree with such statements. We have found one. I am sure you will do a great job. I believe it is a very interesting job. You have everything in place - a new enterprise, a great plant,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
The head of state also warned Sergei Bobovich against performing a desk job only: “I ask you to go into every detail. This should be the best plant in the world in terms of operation and efficiency. Show others that we have great specialists to run an enterprise which is an absolutely new for our country. We have such people in Belarus. I count on you. Report on any matter if you need support. We are always ready to help.”
