
MINSK, 14 July (BelTA) - President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed the law “On ratification of the agreement between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on mutual protection of classified information”, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The agreement was signed during the official visit of Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister Min Aung Hlaing to Belarus on 7 March 2025.
The agreement is designed to ensure mutual protection of classified information and to strengthen friendly relations between the countries. This will create a legal basis for the protection of state secrets of Belarus in the course of bilateral cooperation with Myanmar in the military, military-technical, scientific and other avenues.
