MINSK, 9 December (BelTA) – In their drive to sever ties with Moscow and Minsk, some Western nations are resorting to absurd measures, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at a Security Council meeting, BelTA has learned.
The head of state addressed the so-called “threat from Belarus and Russia,” a narrative actively promoted in the West. He noted that, in their push to cut relations with Moscow and Minsk, Western politicians are even contemplating the dismantling of railway tracks.
“This is beyond the pale. The question arises: are they seeing a psychiatrist? If you do not want people traveling to us or from us by train, then simply leave the railway as it is. It is not a nuisance. Yet their solution is dismantling,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
