CSTO concerned about possible consequences of migration crisis at Belarusian-Polish border

MOSCOW, 10 November (BelTA) – The migration crisis may evolve into a massive disaster for thousands of peaceful people, BelTA learned from the commentary released by the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in response to the situation at the Belarusian-Polish border.

The source said: “We closely watch with concern the migration crisis at the Belarusian-Polish border. This migration crisis may evolve into a massive disaster for thousands of peaceful people, among whom there are many women and children.”

“We expect that with support of respected international organizations the sides will take every possible political, diplomatic, and humanitarian measure for a peaceful resolution of the crisis situation in order to prevent it from becoming a security threat at the border of a CSTO member state,” the CSTO Secretariat stated.
