
MINSK, 21 February (BelTA) – Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko has conveyed a message from Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko to Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, BelTA has learned.
“I am confident that through joint efforts we will be able to build a good foundation for bringing Belarus-Uganda relations to a new level,” the message reads.

The head of state expects to continue personal contacts with his Ugandan counterpart and would be happy to meet in Minsk, Kampala or at international events, the message reads.


The government delegation led by Roman Golovchenko is currently on an official visit to Uganda. Negotiations were held with the country's leadership to discuss cooperation prospects, with a focus on agriculture.
