MINSK, 14 January (BelTA) - Dmitry Kravsovsky, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kenya with concurrent accreditation to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, presented copies of his credentials to Aziza Gelete, Director General of the Diplomatic Protocol Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, on 13 January, BelTA has learned.
According to the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission emphasized the consistently friendly nature of bilateral relations with Ethiopia. He also confirmed Belarus’ readiness to implement all previously reached high‑level agreements.
The parties discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation in the political and diplomatic sectors and exchanged views on current regional and international agenda issues.
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia were established on 18 May 1994.
