Belarus, Australia complete negotiations on Belarus' WTO accession

MINSK, 2 December (BelTA) - Belarus and Australia in Geneva signed a protocol on the completion of bilateral negotiations on market access for goods and services between Belarus and Australia in the framework of Belarus' accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva. On behalf of Belarus the document was signed by Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva Yuri Ambrazevich, on behalf of Australia by Permanent Representative to the WTO Frances Lisson, BelTA learned from the press service of Belarus' Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The signing of the protocol will contribute not only to the early completion of the process of Belarus' accession to the WTO but will also serve as an additional impetus to the development of trade, economic and trade cooperation between Belarus and Australia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
