Belarus ambassador presents credentials to Iran president

MINSK, 27 September (BelTA) - On 26 September, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Iran Dmitry Koltsov presented his credentials to Iran President Ebrahim Raisi, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

After the ceremony the parties exchanged opinions on the state and prospects of cooperation between Belarus and Iran.

The parties confirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening of friendly relations and intensification of cooperation in trade, economic and humanitarian sectors. The parties agreed that there is considerable potential in the bilateral relations in science and higher education.
