The final of the national charity event “Restoration of Belarus' Shrines. The Power of Unity” was held at the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow” in Minsk on 11 November.
The event brought together volunteers from the BRSM Kind Heart movement from all regions of the country and representatives of Belarus' major religious denominations. The event began with the prayer for Belarus, its past and future. It also included the digital scanning of the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow”. Following another tradition of the BRSM volunteers, the participants took part in the Strength of Unity initiative and planted a new alee in the Garden of Hope, a memorial complex for Chernobyl victims.
