Brest is hosting the first day of the nationwide social and cultural campaign Marathon of Unity. The campaign, which is taking place in the year of the 80th anniversary of Belarus' liberation from Nazi invaders, started with the event Don't Wake Up the Sleeping Soldiers in Brest Fortress. The event brought together representatives of the regional and district executive committees, artists, servicemen, bloggers and the public.
