The 2025 Best Athletes Cup in Canoe Sprint kicked off at the rowing center in Belarus’ Zaslavl on 18 June. The first medals found their owners in the mixed K2 500m event.
Multiple world and European champions from Belarus Volha Khudzenka and Dzmitry Natynchyk secured gold. Their fellow Belarusians Alina Svita and Ivan Bulyga placed second. Bronze went to Russian athletes Anastasia Panchenko and Maksim Oseledko. The program of the first competition day of the tournament was wrapped up with the mixed C2 500m. The podium was swept by Belarusians - Maryia Papichych and Ilya Verashchaka, Volha Klimava and Ivan Patapenka, Inna Nedelkina and Uladzislau Paleshka.
