DUBAI, 23 April (BelTA - Emirates News Agency) - Informa Markets has
announced the launch of WHX Tech, a next-generation healthcare event
focused on breakthrough technologies. The inaugural edition will take
place from 8th to 10th September 2025, at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Designed as a global meeting point for digital health, WHX Tech will bring together health systems, investors, regulators, start-ups and tech leaders to explore innovations across artificial intelligence, robotics, smart diagnostics, telehealth, cybersecurity and virtual care.
Solenne Singer, Senior Vice President at Informa Markets, said WHX Tech is designed to turn ideas into real-world solutions, adding that the event offers a platform where “technologies become care” and investments are driven by impact.
More than 300 exhibitors and over 5,000 attendees are expected. The event will feature immersive demonstrations, curated conferences and hospital simulations. A dynamic start-up ecosystem will be supported through investor meetings, mentorship and funding opportunities.
Confirmed speakers include Professor Shafi Ahmed, Rachel Dunscombe of NHS Digital Academy and Britain’s AI Council, and Scott Parazynski, a physician and former NASA astronaut. Sam Amory, Managing Director of Dedalus AMEA, said WHX Tech focuses on applying digital tools to build connected, patient-centred systems.
An expert-led Advisory Board is shaping the agenda, with members such as Dr David Rhew of Microsoft, Dr James Mault of BioIntelliSense, Dr Sam Shah of NEOM, Reenita Das of Frost and Sullivan, Dr. Tamara Sunbul of Saudi Arabia and Dr Myriam Fernández of AWS EMEA.
WHX Tech will unfold across three stages: World X, highlighting digital transformation case studies; Future X, exploring the next two decades of health innovation; and Xcelerate, which links start-ups with investors and includes a US$50,000 prize for healthcare disruptors.
A key partnership with the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society will support content delivery and digital maturity across the event.
Set to debut in Dubai, WHX Tech will position the UAE at the heart of global healthcare transformation, fostering collaboration and innovation to shape the sector’s future. Singer said Dubai offers a global platform “where ambition meets opportunity” for the next wave of digital health.
