BORISOV DISTRICT, 28 October (BelTA) – Russia’s First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov visited BelGEE plant, BelTA has learned.
During the visit, the Russian delegation was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Viktor Karankevich. Denis Manturov got acquainted with the production of passenger cars, visited the welding, painting, and assembly shops. BelGEE’s Director General Gennady Svidersky briefed the Russian delegation about the development of the enterprise.
BelGEE was officially inaugurated on 17 November 2017. The new enterprise is located between Borisov and Zhodino and occupies an area of 118 hectares.
As BelTA has reported earlier, BelGEE plans to assemble almost 100,000 cars by the end of the year. The BELGEE car brand has officially entered the Russian market. The dealer network began working in Russia on July 1 of this year.
