MINSK, 12 February (BelTA) - Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark) and Kazan State Agrarian University, Russia signed an agreement on cooperation, BelTA learned from the MTZ press service.
The document envisages cooperation to create a positive image of MTZ in the Volga Federal District and increase sales of BELARUS machinery. This will help improve the performance of the educational institution by making the training of specialists more relevant to the requirements of employers, strengthening the connection between student training and production, and facilitating the study and testing of BELARUS machinery.
"MTZ machinery is used for teaching students. Students gain basic knowledge studying our machinery. This is a high assessment of our products, which are in high demand," MTZ Director General Sergei Avramenko said. He emphasized that BELARUS tractors are equipment of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, as more than 100 Russian companies work with MTZ. Most of the machinery are import-substitution models.
Sergei Avramenko assisted in the opening of a BELARUS TRACTORS branded classroom at Kazan State Agrarian University. Now the students can study a BELARUS 112H-01 mini-tractor, BELARUS 320.4M tractor and BELARUS 82.3 tractor in this classroom. In addition, the classroom is equipped with an engine, transmission, gearbox and other tractor components and parts. “We hope that the opening of the MTZ branded classroom will motivate students to gain practical knowledge of the machinery with which they will work after graduating. We also invite them to intern at the Minsk Tractor Works,” he stated.
