ALMATY, 30 January (BelTA) - There is untapped potential in trade and industrial cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Belarus, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic - Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev said during a meeting with Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko in Almaty, BelTA learned.

“I am glad to have the opportunity to discuss Kyrgyz-Belarusian interaction and exchange views on some issues. I look forward to working closely with you both in terms of bilateral cooperation and within the framework of integration associations - the EAEU, the CIS, the CSTO and the SCO. I would like to assure you of the continuity of the course of the Kyrgyz government in all areas of both bilateral interaction and within the framework of international organizations. It is gratifying to note that the peoples of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan have good, friendly relations built on the common historical memory, desire for mutual support and understanding,” Adylbek Kasymaliev said.He noted that cooperation is gaining momentum across the board, trade is growing. “Nevertheless, we still have the unrealized potential in trade, industrial cooperation, agriculture and transport and logistics.
