MINSK, 10 July (BelTA) – Belarus’ socio-economic development program for 2026-2030 is being created with input from diverse stakeholders, Deputy Economy Minister Yelena Boligatova said at a roundtable where the draft program was discussed, BelTA learned from the press service of the ministry.
The discussion took place at the Economy Research Institute of the ministry. Yelena Boligatova noted that one of the key priorities of the program concept approved by the head of state is the development of human potential. The current task is to gather feedback from all stakeholders, including representatives of government bodies, the scientific community, business and experts. These proposals will be combined into a single, comprehensive document.
According to the deputy minister, it is necessary to focus on specific, important tasks that can be brought to fruition within five years. “The 2030 program builds on the achievements of previous years, takes into account modern challenges and is focused on practical solutions. The business community is welcome to contribute their views on what else needs to be included in the draft document,” she remarked.
Natalya Berchenko, Director of the Economy Research Institute of the Economy Ministry, presented proposals for the draft program for the next five years.
The participants of the roundtable session discussed development of a set of new standards for the quality of life, digitalization, personnel training, finding new industrialization niche, the role of business in the socio-economic development of the country, and other matters.
