
MINSK, 4 April (BelTA) - In January-March 2025 individuals in Belarus sold $48.9 million worth of foreign currency more than they purchased, BelTA learned from the statistics released by the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB).
In January-March 2025, individuals purchased the equivalent of $2.964 billion in cash and cashless forms and sold $3.013 billion worth of foreign currency.
Based on the data of the National Bank, the commercial entities bought $669.7 million worth of currency more than they sold.
In January-March legal entities purchased the equivalent $7.881 billion worth of foreign currency and sold $7.212 billion. In March, foreign currency purchases by legal entities exceeded sales by $161.5 million.
