Belkoopsoyuz’s export up 18.3% in January-September 2024

MINSK, 20 November (BelTA) – Export of the Belarusian national union of consumer societies Belkoopsoyuz went up by 18.3% in January-September 2024. The results of the enterprise’s performance this year was considered at the meeting of the Board of Belkoopsoyuz on 20 November, BelTA learned from the Belkoopsoyuz press service.

The key issues on the agenda of the meeting were the implementation of the Consumer Cooperative Development Program for 2024-2025 and the fulfillment of the instructions of the Belarusian president.

In January-September 2024 the total volume of activities amounted to Br2.5 billion. Procurement grew 7.4%. Industrial output expanded by 8.8%. Export went up by 18.3%.

Priority is given to the trade sector. In January-September 2024, Belkoopsoyuz opened nine stores and resumed the operation of 27 more.

“Belkoopsoyuz has taken additional measures to stabilize the situation for the successful completion of the year,” Chairman of the Board Inessa Korotkevich said. “A lot has been done during the current period, but it is still not enough. As for the planned activities, all managers are personally responsible for their implementation.
