MINSK, 22 September (BelTA) – The Minsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) of Guangdong Province have signed an agreement on cooperation, BelTA learned from the BelCCI office.
The document was signed by Belarusian Consul General in Guangzhou Andrei Popov on behalf of the Minsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Vice President of the China Council for Promotion of International Trade of Guangdong Province Cui Shuang.
“The agreement provides for the implementation of a number of initiatives in various areas of bilateral cooperation, including the exchange of commercial proposals for trade and economic cooperation, lists of potential partners interested in joint cooperation, information on congress and exhibition events hosted by the parties. The document also provides for organization of business missions and contacts, exhibitions, seminars, conferences and other events for business circles aimed at familiarization of economy and export opportunities of Belarus and Guangdong Province,” the BelCCI office said.
According to the BelCCI, the planned activities will seek to expand trade and economic relations between Belarus and the Chinese province of Guangdong.
