MOSCOW, 13 December (BelTA) - The Eurasian Economic Union needs new airplanes, ships, railroad rolling stocks, and passenger vehicles, Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said at the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Moscow on 13 December, BelTA has learned.
The EAEU economic growth and product promotion to foreign markets largely hinge on the stable logistics transportation system rebuilt to serve new export flows to friendly countries of the East, Asia-Pacific region, and the Global South, Roman Golovchenko said.
"We need new railroad rolling stocks for cargo transportation, ships of various classes and purposes, cargo and passenger airplanes, a modern fleet of passenger vehicles. All these are promising areas for the development of joint industrial cooperation," the prime minister highlighted.
"It is wrong to let third countries take away this capacious domestic market sector, the demand for which is largely financed by budget allocations," Roman Golovchenko added.
