MINSK, 20 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian state concern for production and sale of light industry goods Bellegprom and the Russian Export Center have signed a memorandum of cooperation at the international Commonwealth of Fashion forum in St. Petersburg, the press service of the Bellegprom concern told BelTA.

Chairwoman of the Bellegprom concern Nadezhda Lazarevich noted that for the Belarusian light industry, this agreement opens up new avenues for cooperation with a key Russian institution for export support. “The main goal is not only to boost trade between our countries but also to join efforts to strengthen competitive positions on the global market. We appreciate the willingness of the Russian Export Center to share information, assist in finding partners, organize business missions, and, most importantly, to jointly enter markets of mutual interest. This will enable our companies to receive the necessary support to overcome current challenges and will ensure sustainable growth in the exports abroad,” she said.

Nadezhda Lazarevich also spoke at a session dedicated to state support measures in the light industry and creative industries within the CIS.

Furthermore, a memorandum was signed between the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, OAO Kamvol and OOO Aurus.
