MINSK, 12 June (BelTA) – The Belarusian light industry concern Bellegprom plans to open a Da Domu store in Baku, Chair of the Bellegprom concern Tatiana Lugina told reporters, BelTA has learned.
Azerbaijan's parliamentary delegation led by Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova visited the First National Mall. The delegation was accompanied by Chair of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Natalya Kochanova.
“During the visit, we wanted to show what we have and what we can do. Possible avenues of cooperation were discussed. We have reached certain agreements,” said Tatiana Lugina. “We were pleased to show our projects such as Pershy [The First], Da Domu [Going Home], as well as products like Belkopsoyuz fur coats, our carpets. I think that we will be able to ramp up trade and increase the presence of Belarusian products in the market of Azerbaijan, especially our unique products, like linen products, home textiles, business suits, dishes.”
According to her, a Da Domu multi-brand store may open in Baku. “There are certain agreements. During a meeting with the business community of Azerbaijan on 14 June we will explore the possibility to open a Da Domu store in Baku this year,” added Tatiana Lugina.
Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova also visited the National Library of Belarus. During the excursion, the guest was gifted a book about natives of Azerbaijan who defended Belarus during the war and a Belarusian children's book about Azerbaijan. Sahiba Gafarova left an entry in the Book of Honored Guests of the National Library of Belarus.
