MINSK, 6 April (BelTA) – The state enterprise Belstroycenter and the Azerbaijani company IMA ENERGY have signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation in construction, Belstroycenter told BelTA.
The meeting between the parties was held via videoconference. In Minsk, the document was signed by Belstroycenter Director General Aleksei Malinovsky.
The Azerbaijani side will act as a partner-subcontractor, working together with Belarusian builders as they begin construction of an agro-town in Aghdam District, Azerbaijan.
“The project is large-scale and socially significant. It includes the construction of 448 residential houses, a school, a kindergarten, and full infrastructure. At present, the project is at the design stage,” the enterprise noted.
Cooperation with IMA ENERGY opens up new opportunities for exporting Belarusian construction services. It is another step in strengthening the partnership between Belarus and Azerbaijan in the construction sector.
