MINSK, 12 December (BelTA) – A comprehensive set of measures to prepare for the agricultural season, ensure a solid animal feed supply, and gather harvest has been approved. Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin has signed the relevant resolution of the Council of Ministers, BelTA learned from the government’s press service.

In addition to a set of organizational measures for the agricultural season, the plan also sets out a procurement schedule and quantities for key inputs, including mineral and compound fertilizers, limestone materials, fuel and lubricants. The government has approved a list of agricultural entities eligible to purchase machinery and equipment in 2026 financed through subventions from the national to regional budgets. It also endorsed measures to subsidize part of the interest on loans taken out for agricultural work.

“The decision is adopted by the Council of Ministers annually and contributes to creating conditions for conducting agricultural work during optimal agrotechnical periods,” the press service noted.
