MINSK, 14 January (BelTA) – BC Tsmoki Minsk are third in Group V, with playoff hopes quite viable following the FIBA Europe Cup Round of 32, BelTA informs.
The Minsk Dragons celebrated a win over Austria's Gussing Knights 96-60 and lost two games to Italy's Varese (63-94) and Cyprus' AEK (68-73).
Anthony Hilliard leads the team with 137 points. Ivan Marash keeps 84 points.
The Group V standings are as follows: Varese – 5 points/3 games, AEK – 5/3, Tsmoki Minsk – 4/3, and Gussing – 4/3.
Igor Grishchuk's men will be back in action on 20 January. The Minsk Dragons will host Italy's Varese. Two best teams from each of eight quartets will advance into the playoffs.
